snori...it seems more accurate to say Dylan was a huge influence on Donovan.
I think in 65 Dylan thought of Donovan as a 1/2 assed
wanabe. (I personally like Donovan's 65'-69'music )
and as to the Allman Bros.-I thought they got the "Mountain Jam" from the brief reference to the Donovan song from the GDs "Anthem of the Sun" LP (it was the GD- who had a huge influence on the A.B.'s.)...
also "first there is a mountain, then there is no mountain, then there is."
I believe is from an ancient Zen poem/koan

Actually that's a description of Seattle weather. Every now and then ya see Mt. Rainier big as life, and then.....poof.
